MY VISION ON
An interdisciplinary and human-centric approach is critical to address challenges carried out by the digital transformation, and to make it effective from a social perspective. A risk of diving deep into technological opportunities is to lose the big picture and advance knowledge into silos.
Digital transformation calls for a shift in our way of thinking, for a change of our approach to become more dynamic, comprehensive and multi-functional, strategic and risk-tolerant, and more human-centric computing since the conception of the idea. Moreover, I believe in the importance of properly communicating the potential and limitations of emerging technologies (e.g., in automation what makes human contribution unreplaceable).
Furthermore, I believe that other relevant ingredients to ride the digital transformation wave are speed to turn ideas into products, observation for social changes, and appreciation for diversity as an added value to innovation and competitiveness.
